Looking for inspiration

Photobucket

Hi. My name is Wendy and I've been a blog slacker lately. (Hi Wendy.) And while I admit that I have this problem, it doesn't actually bring me to the first step to recovery. What does? Going through photos I've saved. Oh, yeah.

So I found the above picture and it reminded me of an old post. As an update to that post, my daughter is much better at chewing gum now and has turned into a gum fiend. There go my chances of seeing a bubble butt.

Mostly though, the picture reminded me of being pregnant with my daughter. Why, one may ask? Well, for those of you who are not 'in the know,' exercise balls are great for your back and for helping your hips to spread when you're pregnant. I know. Who would want their hips to spread? Well, I'll tell you what - if you're about to push out something the size of a watermelon, you want those puppies to spread. Anyway, back to my story. I really wanted to get an exercise ball, but they weren't as easy to find as they are these days.

My one criteria? I didn't want a white one.

But white was the only color I could find.

Why wouldn't I want a white ball? Because it was enough being pregnant and I didn't want to look like I was trying to hatch a giant egg. So there you have it. Kinda changes the way you look at that picture now, doesn't it?

I love that poster. So funny!

BTW, who was going to be watching you hatch, I mean sit on your egg, I mean exercise ball? You could have just sat on it when you were by yourself...

I had to scroll to the top to view the picture again, and yes, I laughed!

Thanks for that!

Oh my! My boss is having a meeting in the next room and my office door is open. Tears are streaming down my face right now as I'm trying not to burst out laughing with this whole visual of eggs hatching.
And I totally have one of these. I have a giant dark pinkish one. Not sure I'll Ever be able to sit on it again without laughing :)

That is too funny! I totally thought they were blowing bubbles out their butts until you put the egg picture in my head...now I have to go cook dinner and we're having, of all things, eggs (breakfast burritos..I'm having a craving but I'm so not pregnant!) and your butt laying an egg is in the front of my mind...happy, happy, joy, joy :)

If only you could see the smile you've created on my face!

As a former in-home personal trainer who would often take a ball with me to a client in the day when these balls were uncommon, many would stop me on the street and ask if it was a giant beach ball.

Now, badly out of shape myself, I need to think about using one myself.

Hmm. My giant exercise ball is bright blue. Is that better in ANY way? :-0

Haha! That picture is hilarious. I totally get the not wanting a white one while pregnant thing. :) You're right, I'll never look at those the same again.

Not sure human eggs would be white, would they? No, no, they wouldn't. We'd find some way to dress them up. Maybe with stick ons or stencils. I didn't get the bubble gum thing until just this second. Those things scared me to begin with. Now, I'll never go near one.

You are whack, Wendy. Simply whack. Now how much gum does that take, anyway?
