Who needs Krazy Glue?

It's time for "What I Learned This Week" over at Musings of a Housewife. Want to find out what other people learned? Then pop on over to her blog and check it out.

As for me, I learned the following:

Glitter glue is stronger than Krazy Glue when it's applied to your kitchen table.

Silly Putty is stronger than Krazy Glue when it's stuck in your carpet.

Pineapple juice can seep through a plastice container and make that container stick to the refridgerator shelf as if it had been put there with Krazy Glue.

While parents might laugh and joke about how nice it would be to be able to apply Krazy Glue to the mouths of incredibly loud children, your child will not think that it's funny. At all.

Krazy Glue and duct tape are not interchangeable.

Not everything that is broken can be fixed with Krazy Glue.

Yes, Krazy Glue will glue your fingers together. Trust me on this one.

So what did you learn this week?

Want to check out something that's Krazy Glue free? Take a peek at my blog carnival, Life is Funny! And when you get there, why don't you stay a while? I'm guessing you've got some funny stories to tell yourself...

Oh! And as an added bonus: Today (Tues.) is free cone day at Ben & Jerry's stores! Gotta love free ice cream!

I learned a long time ago that you shouldn't keep Krazy Glue in the bathroom cabinet next to the artificial tears......

I've had that glued together fingers experience.

Have a great day!

Oh! I know what to do about the silly putty! Rubbing alcohol dissolves it. Water makes silly putty stickier and doughier so that it will even stick to skin but it can still be removed with rubbing alcohol.

When I was in college (and wearing acrylic finger nails) I had a fingernail emergency and tried to open some crazy glue with my teeth. Very bad idea!

This was a fun "what to learn!"

Furthermore, Krazy Glue dripped on pajama pants makes the spot where it dripped rock hard. That rock-hard spot on your pajama pants will provide hours of fascination for your husband, who will pick at it incessantly while sitting with you on the couch watching a movie. LOL!

Crazy glue has some great uses. It can even be a band-aid if you need it to be! Sounds like you have some creative kids though! PS love the song!

After reading Candy's comment, I don't ever plan on using Krazy Glue again. And I forgot what I was going to say....

Those are indeed excellent lessons to learn. And the commenters who mentioned Krazy Glue lessons had me cringing in sympathy.

I think I'd be dangerous with a tube of Krazy Glue.

Was this a science fair experiment gone bad?

This is hilarious. Hope everything came out/off okay. :)

Oh and thanks for the hint on linking my learned things to my recent posts about them!

Have a great week.

yeah I learned that you CAN NOT wipe off Krazy Glue with a napkin after you accidently glue a couple of fingers together trying to wipe it off grandma's table that you weren't supposed to be using it on.

...yeah...
you will get busted & it will take forever to get those lil pieces of paper napkin off you hands!

I have learned that Krazy glue isn't a good substitute for certain things. Ceramics, yes. Plastic crap toys that the kids are heartbroken over? No. Thanks for the insight on the rest of it!

LOL!

No free Ben & Jerry's in N Ireland either :(

Krazy Glue is now outlawed in our home, along with glitter glue and Silly Putty, which is still in my son's carpet.

Thankfully, I now know what to do about that...
