Mutual Admiration Society
Over on Darcie's blog, she's been participating in the What I Learned This Week Carnival at musingsofahousewife.com. So, being the big ol' copycat that I am, I decided to do it, too. All I have to do is come up with something I've learned... Okay, got it.I've learned that I'm totally addicted to comments. As if you couldn't tell from my 100th post... But it's more than just getting comments (which is the best thing ever). I have a lot of fun leaving comments on other people's blogs. Kind of like a Mutual Admiration Society. I have to admit that I can't go very long during the day without checking for comments on my blog. Thanks to my statcounter, I know that I'm getting a good number of readers. I just have very quiet readers. I have a few people who will comment regularly (You guys are the greatest!) and I have to say that it really makes my day. Does that make me needy? I need! I need! One of my favorite benefits of blogging is getting to know other people, but it's a bit tough when it's a one way street. Comments are a way of keeping the conversation going.I leave comments on a lot of the blogs I read. It's really nice to see others blogs and find a connection there. I miss it when people haven't blogged for a while. It's like missing a friend. I just hope that my leaving comments for others lets them know how much I enjoy reading what they have to say. So to all of my blogging friends, keep writing! I'll keep commenting. And please know that I appreciate you sharing your lives with all of us.Don't forget to check out my giveaway! Mmmm... Chocolate...

Comments are FUN! It really is a great way to connect and carnivals like these help those who participate to connect easier.
Have a great day!
I completely understand! & if you are needy so am I - so I guess that makes us NEEDED! :)
Its always a joy to see that what we write has struck a cord in the world & your blog often does!
Thank you for all you do. & as you said..keep blogging!
& to everyone else who reads yet doesn't speak up... "Hi! Welcome....now get to talking. Its fun & you are wanted." ;)
I LOVE comments, too, although I don't get many. However, I don't have a lot of readers either so that goes without saying! Anywhoo, the ones who do comment have become dear friends to me even though we have never met and I love that! I used to comment all over the place, but it takes so much time that I usually just stick to my few faithful ones. I am trying to get better, though and this carnival is helping!
Here's hoping you get TONS of comments today!
I love comments, too! I'm going to poke around your blog, if you don't mind! I love reading blogs!
I LOVE comments too, and try to visit blogs or reply to all comments I get.
Hope you make it over to my blog to see what I learned this week.
I know I already told you via email but since you're bringing up comments I'm putting it out there for all the world to see: Wendy's comments rock! You keep me rolling. Wish my comments could be as pithy and clever as yours but alas, I can't compete.
I'm thinking that there should be a comments anonymous for bloggers. Something tells me our numbers would be impressive...
Oh yes, the comment crack. You just can't get enough! :-)
