Yeah, that's the ticket!

Photobucket

There's a game I've played over years called "Two Truths and Lie." Have you ever played it? Well, I thought it might be fun to play it here. That, and I couldn't think of another topic tonight.

Here's how you play. You tell two truths about yourself and one lie, then everyone else tries to guess which is the lie. Fun, huh? I'll tell mine in this post, and anyone who would like to play, other than my immediate family, can make their guesses in the comments. You can also leave your truths and lie in the comments. Oh, and if you have a blog, consider yourself tagged for your blog, but leave a comment on my blog to link to yours.

A little explanation for the "comment impaired" (this totally describes certain parental units who will go unnamed) - at the bottom of this post in little letters it says "comment." Click on that and then if you have an account you can sign in. If you don't have an account, scroll down a bit more and click the bubble next to "name/url" so you don't have to sign up for an account and you can just leave a comment. Type in your answer, feel free to leave your own, and hit "publish your comment." Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Without further ado...

1. An Arab man tried to buy me.

2. I've ridden an elephant through the jungle.

3. I spent a year performing with a circus.

So? What do you think?

How fun is this?!? I think the lie is that you spent a year performing with the circus. Maybe?

Ok - here's mine:
1. I have 7 sisters and absolutely no brothers.
2. I can play more than 10 different musical instruments, quite well.
3. I could swim before I could walk.

Way to make it hard...could that *be* any more random?!

Hmmm. I'd have to say the elephant through the jungle thing is the lie.

Can't wait to hear these stories...

Kelli -

Okay, let's see... Yours are tough, but I'm going to guess that you have 7 sisters and no brothers is a lie. How did I do?

I'm guessing that the lie is the circus for a year! Tough one.

So for me...
1. My last cigarette was on the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower in 2001.

2. I once went hot air ballooning with my grandma over the everglades and we crashed down in the ocean.

3. When I was a baby I snuggled with a snow leopard.

Hi Wendy -

You got me. I actually only have 1 sister and I always wish I had more.

You have a great blog!

I'm going to go with #2 is the lie? Because I've sat on an elephant at a fair and it's scary- I can't imagin riding one through the jungle.

And mine...
Hmmm....

I was on a plane post 9/11 that was detained and stormed by SWAT.

I am a red head that dies her hair brown.

All of my front teeth are fake.

Hi Wendy! First I want to thank you for the comment that you left on my blog on January 28, 2009. I'm sorry it took me so long to respond, but I just came across the comment today. I'm new to blogging, and I'm not used to getting comments, though I LOVED getting yours and hope to get more eventually! :-) My plan is to start writing a blog instead of just posting giveaways, but I haven't quite got there...yet. Anyway, I'm going to answer your questions on my blog today so you can check it out if you'd like. I'll have a link to your blog, too so people can visit here also.

My guess for your game is that the lie is that you spent a year performing with the circus. My two truths and a lie are on my blog, Butterfly Whispers (link under my email address below).

Thanks again for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment!!

Hugs!

MoonGoddess -
I'm guessing your lie is the first one. So...?

Gina -

My guess for you is that you're not really a redhead. How did I do?

Michele -

I checked your blog, but didn't see it. Are you still going to post? I'd love to see yours!

Actually its the second one. I did go ballooning with my grandmother over the everglades & but we never crashed down in the ocean, just a Best Buy parking lot - its the only way to land one of those things evidently, just float down & bump into the ground til you stay!

Fun game!

Darn, i guess I didn't make that one original enough. :)
